I LOVE all the Cooking Light books that I own! Besides this book, I also own Cooking Light's Way to Cook, Way to Cook Vegetarian, and Way to Cook Grilling.This book is filled with pictures. It tells you about serving sizes, nutrition in different foods, and what to look for on the labels, among other things. This is a great purchase for anyone who is trying to eat healthier. The visual cues and short descriptions (often with bullet point facts) makes all of this detailed information easier to handle so that you are not so overwhelmed.I also love the size of the book. It is not so small that I have to strain my eyes at all, but its not to big that I can't put it in my purse and take it shopping with me.The only thing that would've made this book better would've been if they included how to select fresh produce (when its in season, how to tell if it is ripe, and how to store it).
